I’ve got one even better. The picture on my citation CLEARLY shows the light to be yellow. The woman whom I called, Deborah Marshall, stated that “the lights appear “orange” in the actual photos & they had to change the bulb so they now show up red”. Okay, fine. But then how do you explain the fact that my RED brake lights appear RED in the picture, but the traffic light is clearly YELLOW!?
It’s seems that The City of Rome now has a new sham. You can run a YELLOW light, but they can call it “RED” because …er…um… that’s just the way it shows up in the photo. Well – if the photo is the proof & that’s all I have to go by, then the “evidence” is flawed & you SHOULD throw out the ticket. How can you pull this sham? Oh – I forgot – because you CAN! “Welcome to Rome, GA, where the new “tax” is $70.00 just for the privilege of driving through our loving faulty-camera intersections.” Rome, GA – The new Rip Off capital of the world? Perhaps. What a complete & total scam these guys are pulling. This should be exposed in the mass media. They would have a field day with this bit.
